Peas and Carrots with Steak and Potatoes Recipe

This is a modern take on a classic steak dinner. The peas and carrots add color and flavor to the dish, while the baby potatoes make it filling and hearty. The steak is cooked to perfection and seasoned with only salt and black pepper.

Instructions

  • Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet over high heat, heat the olive oil.
  • Cook the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until done to preference.
  • Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside for 5 minutes to rest.
  • Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are browned and tender.
  • Cook until the butter and garlic are fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Combine the chicken broth, thyme, rosemary, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peas and carrots are tender.
  • Steaks should be served with potatoes, peas, and carrots.
