Pea Pods with Butter Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pea pods
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

  • Wash the pea pods and trim the ends.
  • Blanch the pea pods for 2-3 minutes in a pot of salted water.
  • Drain and rinse the pea pods with cold water.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stir in the blanched pea pods and salt until the pea pods are coated in butter.
  • Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pea pods are hot and tender.
